Product Description

Dulux Trade Aluminium Paint is a solvent-based paint designed to provide an aluminium finish for wood and metal surfaces. It is suitable for interior and exterior use and can withstand temperatures up to 260ºC.

Application Description

Application: Brush only. For Health and Safety reasons related to all solvent-based paints, spray application is not recommended. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as dirt, grease and wax. Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces. New or bare surfaces up to 90ºC should be primed with an appropriate Dulux Trade primer. Above that temperature, Dulux Trade Aluminium Paint should be applied direct to the clean, prepared surface. Finish with 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade Aluminium Paint.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry). See Dulux Trade Datasheet 505 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 70 70 or visiting duluxtrade.co.uk. Before surface preparation read the Health & Safety information about old lead paints.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much product as possible from brushes before cleaning with brush cleaner
  • 3. Storing
    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature
