Product Description

Armstead Trade Undercoat is a professional quality, solvent-based undercoat suitable for use on all types of interior and exterior wood, metal and suitably primed masonry surfaces. Recommended for use with Armstead Trade High Gloss where a durable high gloss system is required.

Application Description

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. The normal recommendation is to apply one coat of Armstead Trade Undercoat, followed by one or two coats of Armstead Trade High Gloss. Touch dry: 2-6 hours. Recoat: 6-16 hours.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Application:Brush or roller only. For Health and Safety reasons related to all solvent based paints, spray application is not recommended.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    To get the best results with Armstead Trade Undercoat, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry). See Armstead Trade Datasheet AM206 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 7070 or visiting armsteadtrade.co.uk. Before surface preparation, read the adjacent information about old lead paints.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with brush cleaner.

    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature.
