Product Description

Armstead Trade Smooth Masonry Paint is a professional quality, smooth exterior emulsion paint. It has an attractive high build finish and provides excelllent coverage and application. It is also BBA certified to provide up to 15 years protection and is shower-resistant in 30 minutes

Application Description

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. On very absorbent surfaces a sealing coat of thinned Armstead Trade Smooth Masonry (up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint) should be applied. The normal finishing process is 1 or 2 full coats of Armstead Trade Smooth Masonry. Touch Dry: 1-2 hours. Recoat: 2-4 hours. Drying time will vary according to temperature and humidity e.g. the drying times quoted will be significantly longer in cold, damp conditions. Coverage up to 12m²/l depending on surface texture. These figures are only an approximate guide and may be reduced. If in doubt, apply a small trial area.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    To get the best results with Armstead Trade Smooth Masonry, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces must be fully dry). See Armstead Trade Datasheet AM302 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 7070 or visiting armsteadtrade.co.uk. Before surface preparation, read the adjacent information about old lead paints.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with water.

    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature.
