Product Description

Armstead Trade Satin is a professional quality, solvent-based satin finish. It is also tough and dirt resistant. An undercoat is only needed where a strong colour change is required. Suitable for use on interior wood and metal surfaces.

Application Description

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Armstead Trade Satin Finish. However, where a strong colour change is required then a coat of an appropriate coloured Armstead Trade Undercoat may be necessary. Touch dry: 4-6 hours. Recoat: 16-24 hours.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Application: Brush or roller only. For Health and Safety reasons related to all solvent based paints, spray application is not recommended.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    To get the best results with Armstead Trade Satin Finish, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry). See Armstead Trade Datasheet AM226 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 7070 or visiting armsteadtrade.co.uk. Before surface preparation, read the adjacent information about old lead paints.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with brush cleaner
  • 3. Storing
    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature.
