Product Description

Armstead Trade Metal Primer Zinc Phosphate is a professional quality metal primer that has excellent adhesion and inhibits rust, preventing the spread of corrosion. It is generally resistant to heat up to 90ºC. Suitable for use on both interior and exterior surfaces. Not suitable as a primer for Acrylated Rubber Paints.

Application Description

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. After suitable surface preparation, apply 1 coat of Armstead Trade Metal Primer Zinc Phosphate, followed by an appropriate Armstead Trade paint system. Touch dry: 2-6 hours. Recoat: 6-16 hours.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Application: Brush or roller only. For Health and Safety reasons related to all solvent based paints, spray application is not recommended.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    To get the best results with Armstead Trade Metal Primer Zinc Phosphate, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry).   • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with brush cleaner.
