Help your fellow members

As we're nearing the launch of our Social Community Projects, we require any willing volunteers to help fellow member David Cooper make a difference within his local community!

Four times this year (once every quarter), we plan to make a real difference to local communities, involving organisations close to the hearts of Dulux Select Decorators. Which is why, we recently asked you to put forward your projects involving local community areas in need of some serious love and attention!

This quarter, we're thrilled to announce we've chosen a worthy project nominated by Select member David Cooper; The Letchworth Rugby Club. Situated in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, David was previously involved in the upgrading of the changing and parking facilities. Unfortunately, due to time and financial restrictions the project remains unfinished - but with your help we're aiming to rectify that!

Together, with our help David plans to coat the interior walls with Diamond Matt to provide resistance against wear and tear, and importantly, allows the majority of mud to be wiped clean off the walls without affecting the decoration.

David told us that "this project will give prolonged protection from the consistently grubby mitts! During a typical week the clubhouse could have over 500 people passing through due to rugby (mini, junior and senior teams), other clubs and social events, so it does take a battering."
