Name: Tarin Burke

What is your role within the Dulux Select Decorators team?

I work on a variety of daily tasks which can differ between renewing memberships, regular courtesy calls or general help and advice. I speak to numerous members between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and as a team, our principal aim is to provide an excellent customer service

What did you do before joining AkzoNobel?

I've worked in PR/Marketing and most recently as a PA to a Company Director. I've survived many Fashion PR internships. Contrary to popular belief, Fashion Internships really are nothing like the 'Devil wears Prada'.

Where do you live?

After living in London for the past 4 years, I decided to make the move back to Nottingham. I don't plan on moving back anytime soon, however I do miss it dearly. Nottingham isn't too bad, I promise!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I have a secret shopping addiction, although it's not so much of a secret now.

What was your favourite holiday?

Hands down Miami. Great nightlife, hot climate and one of a kind shops.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?

My most obvious choice would be my mobile phone. As cliché as it sounds I cannot live without it. How would you charge it? You may ask. My colleague Rachel suggested an Electrician and a plug socket. 3 items, 1 solution.
