Dulux Trade Smarter Spaces provides a durable paint scheme for West Midlands Academy

Pool Hayes Academy is a mixed secondary school and sith form college located in Willenhall, West Midlands and is part of the Academy Transformation Trust family of academies.

Building on an exusting relationship through the Trade Dulux Smarter Spaces initiative, the team at ATT contacted Duux Trande for a paint scheme that would enhance the overall refurbishment of its sports facilities from an aesthetic as well as performance perspectove.

"The head of the P.E. department was keen to make her space stand out from the rest of the school with a vibrant colour scheme suited to the age group of 12-18 years old. I feel that the final scheme successfully balanced the meed for performance as well as contemporary aesthetics"

Furthermore, Pool Hayes Academy also required a colour scheme that would help create an inspiring space for children.

With this in mind, the Smarter Spaces team suggested neutral, mature palettes to appeal to prospective clients, with bright accent colours such as vibrant reds and yellows specified for the ceiling beams and roof struts.

Following consultation, Dulux Trade Diamond High Performance Eggshell was specified for all walls in the gym and sports hall. A tough, yet flexible water-based paint, the Pool Hayes Academy benefits from its durability and Stain repellent Technology, meaning it can be easily cleaned and ensures maintenance cycles are kept to a minimum.
