Armstead Trade Gets Colourful With Extended Durable Range

Armstead Trade, the new trade brand from AkzoNobel is extending its hard wearing Durable Matt range to include an even greater choice of colours.

Durable Matt is now available in more than 3,000 shades, thanks to the introduction of a new mid-base and a new strong base - giving appliers even more choice to offer to their customers.

The scrubbable Armstead Trade Durable Matt is an affordable solution that has been verified in accordance with British Standard testing, and has achieved Type C and Class 1 durability ratings after 2,000 scrub cycles.

Alex Briggs, Senior Brand Manager at AkzoNobel, said: "The Durable Matt range is the first of many developments we are introducing to make it easier for decorators to make a smart choice with products which deliver an even better performance at a great price. Having a greater range of colours will make it easier for decorators to find the right colour for their customers' design schemes.

"Our Durable Matt finish also helps minimise surface imperfections and offers good stain resistance, making it a great choice for high traffic areas, like public spaces, stairways and corridors as most marks and blemishes can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth."

This extension to the range is part of AkzoNobel's ongoing investment in the Armstead Trade brand. During 2014, decorators will see further product launches, all designed to help decorators deliver a quality finish, even on projects with tight budgets.

Other developments include a new colour card which has been designed for decorators and homeowners, and a commercial colour scheming brochure. These come in addition to the dedicated Armstead Trade resources on the Dulux Trade Paint Expert website and iPhone app – all designed to help appliers make smart choices on the job.
