Colour in Construction
INTRODUCTION
We live in an uncertain world and people need their daily environment to be a place where they can turn down the noise.
Light Reflectance Value and paint
LRV is a 99-point index used to measure the degree to which a colour reflects light. The higher the LRV, the more light the colour reflects and therefore the paler it appears. The LRV for each Dulux Trade colour is clearly indicated in its Colour Palette notation. For more information download the pdf below.
Colour and Contrast Design Guide
Easy to create & aesthetically pleasing
Users can virtually paint a variety of room sets, either using
pre-designed schemes or creating new ones, and the program will flag
which colour choices and positioning comply with the visual contrast
guidelines set out in the Equality Act, Approved Document to part M.
Schemes can be saved and shared with clients or printed for reference.
