Water-based paints

You may know that paints traditionally contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that can be released into the air, both as the paint is applied and as it dries. These can affect the air quality for both the painter and of the people who will live in the space. We have worked hard to transform our paint formulations to significantly reduce the VOC content is a key commitment, and today, all of our Dulux Trade interior wall emulsions contain low VOCs. Additionally, Dulux Trade Airsure Vinyl Matt and Dulux Trade Airsure Diamond Matt products are 99.9% VOC-free solutions, while Dulux Trade Supermatt is 99.9% VOC free as well as BREEAM and LEED compliant.

When it comes to wood and metal, our water-based products also contain much lower VOCs and are good substitutes for solvent-based formulations. They are quick-drying, sprayable, lower in odour, easier to clean and provide longer-lasting whiteness.
