We have identified a potential issue whereby one end of the handle on some packs of our Dulux Trade Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint PBW 7.5L may detach if pulled from the side.  As a precaution, and due to the possible risk of injury resulting from the handle failure, we are withdrawing all product from two batches that may be affected.  These were sold through Trade outlets in October 2023 and January 2024.

Please check any packs purchased during this period for the affected batch numbers (listed above), which will be printed on the lid of the pack.  If you have any product from these batches, please either, carefully return it to your local store, taking care to carry the product by the base, or contact Dulux Trade Technical Advice Centre via phone (0333 222 7070) or email (duluxcustomerservices@akzonobel.com) to receive a replacement.

I have recently used this paint on a job, is there an issue with the paint itself?

There is no issue with the paint.  We are recalling product from these two batches as a precaution, due to the potential risk of injury in the event the handle fails.
